My name is Oliver Scales Copeland, I'm from Sydney Australia, but currently based out of Orange, Australia. I compose, perform and produce differing genres of music, from rock to metal to funk. I am in the process of producing a progressive metal style EP which will be released later this year. But I have many recordings of other genres that have been done as practice compositions. These are available on this site, or on YouTube, under the channel @oliverscope.
I have been interested in music my entire life. I first picked up the guitar at age 4, and studied it at Highschool and Tertiary level. I play acoustic and electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and vocals. I have been in a range of bands, from the Sydney Regional band at ages 12 - 13 and have later been in metal and rock bands. And now, I compose and record my original compositions, in my home studio.
So, in the future I will be opening a commercial music studio and looking to be an audio engineer and producer there, and to also offering my skills as a session musician.
